The National Planning Policy Frame work Section 13 ‘Protecting Green Belt’ requires that Alternative Site options have been fully explored and demonstrated, with a Brown field site first policy.
The school has failed over many decades to provide robust evidence of alternative sites searches, with just 3 considered in that time, some made retrospectivelly, and the Mayor querying in his 2017 Final Decision Letter why The Watch Tower site on the Ridgeway NW7, a brownfield site was never pursued.
The planning documents submitted appear to lack a demonstration that it has examined fully all other reasonable options.
Pentavia, at 6.28 acres – just a few hundred metres across the road was rejected by the school, yet this site was approved by the Mayor for 844 residential homes;
